ON | Accountability Grades

The Indiana Department of Education released the 2015 school accountability grades on Tuesday, January 26. A grade reflects each school’s and the district’s most recent academic performance on the state’s standardized tests (ISTEP and ECA) and other high school indicators of success (Graduation Rate and College & Career Readiness). These grades take into account student performance and student growth. While the grading system is complex mathematically, in simple terms, it demands that all students have high growth compared to other students across the state, not their own independent growth achievement.

The district is committed to helping our students grow by doing their personal best at school and at home to learn. Please contact your child’s school is you have questions regarding the school grade.
