Athletics/Extracurricular Return to Play Plan

   

  • Student-Athletes are limited to 15 hours per week on Campus
  • Each Sport may hold up to 2 Sport Specific Activity Days per week, at 3 hours per day for a total of 6 hours per week
  • Fall Sports may host an additional 2 Conditioning ONLY Days, at 2 hours per day for a total of 4 hours per week
  • All students will be required to be screened by a coach, and wash/sanitize their hands before and after entering the weight room, gym, or practice area
  • Locker Rooms will NOT be available. Students should come dressed appropriately.
  • Shared Water Stations will NOT be available. Students will need to bring their own water bottle.  No Sharing of Water Bottles, Towels, etc. 
  • Attendance is limited to only essential personnel (Coaches, players, support staff)
  • Face coverings are recommended for all participants, coaches, directors, support staff, etc. unless under rigorous activity or it poses a health risk.
  • All equipment will be sanitized before and after each practice by coaches.
  • Competition is NOT Allowed

  • Locker rooms may be used at 50% capacity maintaining social distance guidelines.
  • Shared Water Stations will NOT be available. Students will need to bring their own water bottle.  No sharing of Water Bottles, Towels, etc.

  • Formal Competition is NOT Allowed. Teams will be allowed to scrimmage.
  • Spectators are NOT allowed

  • Formal IHSAA Competition is allowed
  • Spectators, Media, etc. can be present but should implement social distancing
  • Locker Rooms will be available at 50% Capacity.
  • Concession stands will only serve pre-packaged foods.

Prior to participation, all first time student-athletes are required to have an IHSAA Pre-Participation Physical for the upcoming school year. Returning Student-Athletes are not required to obtain a new IHSAA Pre-Participation physical but will be required to complete the 2020-21 IHSAA Health History Update Questionnaire and Consent & Release Certificate.   Prior to participation,athletes must have Final Forms complete and “Show Green” across the dashboard in order to participate July 6th.
