Advanced Manufacturing Donates to VEX Robotics Program

On April 20th, Charlestown High School students/teachers and district administrators accepted a $4769.82 donation from Advanced Manufacturing & Logistics Network to help fund the GCCS VEX Robotics Program. In VEX competitions, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundations, teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams. Classroom STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing) concepts are put to the test on the playing field as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications, and more.
